R.O.L.E. believes that abject poverty and environmental degradation are inextricably linked. R.O.L.E. also believes the most effective way to ensure a healthy environment and eradicate poverty is to educate, re-skill, and create alternative environmentally friendly opportunities for individuals and local communities, enabling them to make a reasonable income, therefore taking the pressure off natural resources.

First Graduate & Job Creation

It has been extremely busy of late here at Role Foundation’s Women’s School in Nusa Dua. In July Ni Kadek Ariani became the first student to graduate from the Role Foundation’s vocational program. Women’s Vocational Skills Education Program is well underway

On the 14th April, 2008, R.O.L.E. Foundation has commenced a new term at its teaching faculty, at Nusa Dua. There are three grades in the Vocational Skills Education Program.
