Seeing is Believing

Last week Role managed to secure a pair of prescription glasses for one of the illiterate students through a firm in Jakarta. Ni Wayan Triani left school as she was struggling to keep up in class. In August her grandmother persuaded her to join Role Foundation’s Women’s School after hearing about the program through the Seaweed Famers Association.  Triani is a hard working student and Role’s Head Teacher quickly realized something else was holding her back. After tests at an optician in Denpasar it was confirmed that she needed glasses. Now with a brand new pair obtained by Role Foundation from Seis Optic she is making steady progress.
