Adopt an Environmental Ambassador
Community Program in local hotels “Adopt an Environmental Ambassador”
- USD 1 collected from each room upon checkout
- Support Environmental Ambassadors Organic Farming and Agri-Tourism program for rural youth
- Opt in vs. opt out
Phase I: Environmental Ambassador Training Program (1 year full-time)
Sustainability Education:
- Students appreciate the need for holistic practical support systems
- Students creatively develop solutions to modern-day problems of resource allocation, sustainable agriculture and the provision of essential community services’
Phase II: Community-based Environmental Assistance and Town Planning (2 year project)
Community Assistance:
- Students return to their communities to champion movements for development of eco-tourism enterprises, organic farming cooperatives and infrastructure development planning approach for rural and coastal communities
